Baltimore Neighborhoods The map of Baltimore below highlights the neighborhoods in which Wayne has chosen to specialize. In North Baltimore, these areas run from Charles Village's 1890s Victorian streetcar suburb, on further up the Charles Street corridor, through prestigious early 20th century real estate developments such as Oakenshawe, Guilford, Roland Park, and Homeland, and finally over to the more small town feeling of Mount Washington. Around the Inner Harbor are some of Baltimore's most well-known areas. Federal Hill and Otterbein are two of Baltimore's oldest neighborhoods, and their red brick Federalist-era architecture evokes the city's glory days as one of the East Coast's most prosperous ports. Mount Vernon sits just north of Downtown, and its mid-nineteenth century mansions are undergoing a renaissance. East of the Inner Harbor sits Fells Point, once a separate town, and now home of Baltimore's oldest, colonial-era neighborhood. Finally, Canton is one of the largest geographical neighborhoods in the city, and home to a thriving population of young professionals seeking nightlife and 21st-century amenities. We have two slide shows available to help you get to know the Inner Harbor and North Baltimore neighborhoods. Certainly, Baltimore has many more wonderful areas in which to buy and live — and Wayne can help you find your dream home in any of the city's 200 neighborhoods. Hopefully these slide shows will begin to whet your appetite for exploration of a great American city. Baltimore neighborhoods map
